Accident Defense System
According to the World Health Organization's (WHO) Global Status Report, India is a world leader in annual roadway deaths. And because most vehicles in India are sold without the basic safety features of anti-lock brakes and airbags, it is crucial that motorists see dangers far before they encounter them. Developed in response to government failures and economic pressures, ADS is a grassroots startup that saves lives by placing collision prevention tech into the hands of every motorist.
ADS Founder, Manish Rao, was victim of a brutal hit-and-run accident seven years ago. Partially paralyzed, he spent a year learning to walk again. But during that time, he was encouraged by his wife to do something that would keep others from being in the same position. After his recovery, Manish decided to take action to enhance road safety in India. But as he learned, the issues were systemic and required a grassroots approach to a problem that even the government was unable to handle.
ADS is a socially conscious start-up that provides an innovative approach for preventing accidents and saving lives. As the world moves closer towards becoming a mobile-only society, the ADS mobile app takes advantage of the increase in smartphone performance and equips motorists with collision prevention features once limited to higher-end vehicles. Armed with ADS's "Augmented Reality Driving Enhancement," motorists can now safely navigate the roadways of their choice.
Although ADS was born out Manish's experience in India, it will be made available to motorists globally. This stance represents ADS's efforts to contribute to the United Nation's Decade of Action For Road Safety. And while ADS is a for-profit company, Founder, Manish Rao and CEO, Joe Salazar III have made a commitment to offer the full Accident Prevention Suite at no cost to the individual motorist. Instead, it is their mission to subsidize its use by generating revenue from enterprise clients.
