Using your mobile device’s camera to monitor the road ahead, ADS  is equipped with life-saving features such as "Vehicle Distance Monitoring" and "Collision Prevention Warning". ADS will measure the distance from the vehicle ahead, and it will alert you if there is likely to be a collision. This life-saving feature keeps you safe by helping to prevent accidents from ever happening.

Unfortunately, some accidents will still occur. With this in mind, the ADS app also includes a "Dash Cam" feature that records the last few minutes just before a collision. The benefit is that you have a record to help resolve disputes about what happened. And because the amount of recorded video is adjustable, you can tailor your experience to maximize your phone's performance.

Once you download the ADS mobile app, secure your phone with the car mount of your choice. Make sure the camera is not covered and face the back of your phone out through the windshield. Scanning the road ahead, ADS will display distance warnings and record the portions of  your journey that are within view.

Additionally, the ADS mobile app was developed to work in the background as you drive. Regardless of whether you are making a call or using a few of your other favorite apps, the ADS system will still provide you with Collision Prevention Warnings as the Dash Cam continues to record portions of your drive.

While most new vehicles are equipped with large touchscreens, motorists are forced to take their eyes off the road as they look down to access the controls. On the other hand, the ADS model requires you to mount your phone in-line with the windshield and your field of view.

This positioning treats your phone much more like a "Heads Up Display" than a control center, and it helps you maintain awareness of your surroundings as you drive.  ADS helps make the mobile experience much more intuitive and less distracting when accessing entertainment, convenience, and safety features.
